Position: JR UX Product Designer 100% remote
Location: Town of Italy

As a Junior Product Designer at Tether, you’ll play a role in supporting the design and evolution of Keet, a P2P, privacy‑first communication app developed by the Holepunch team.

Working closely with the Product Design Lead, you’ll help craft clean, intuitive product experiences across desktop and mobile. You’ll contribute to everything from wireframes and user flows to final interface design, prototyping and research, bringing the vision of a secure, decentralised messaging platform to life.

Responsibilities
  • Design user‑friendly, accessible interfaces and flows for Keet across mobile and desktop.
  • Create wireframes, low and high fidelity prototypes, and final UI screens in Figma.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Designer lead to execute and iterate on new features.
  • Prepare design and assets for developers to support smooth handoffs.
  • Contribute to user research and usability testing efforts.
  • Participate in design critiques, planning sessions and async reviews.
  • Occasionally assist in creating marketing or visual assets to support Keet’s branding.
  • Deliver high quality work in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 1–3+ years of experience in product, UX, or UI design.
  • Obsessed about turning the Keet Chat app into the best user experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Strong eye and understanding of layout, hierarchy, interaction and usability principles.
  • Solid portfolio showcasing digital product work, personal concepts and problem‑solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative on tasks with guidance.
  • Comfortable collaborating with developers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Bonus:
    Experience or interest in Web3, messaging platforms, or privacy‑first products, or graphic design.
