Deksia is seeking a young professional in the photo or video production world who is eager to learn and work hard to meet our client’s goals and metrics during this 3-month internship.
Internship programs are tailored to fit the intern’s interests, so the description and responsibilities of the position will vary from candidate to candidate.
As a photo + video intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our Director of Photo + Video and gain valuable experience in working on photo and video shoots, pre- and post-production work, and strategy for Deksia and its clients.
This internship is ideal for those interested in pursuing careers such as:- Freelance Video Editor
- Multimedia Artist
- Motion Graphics Artist
- Production Assistant
- Cinematographer
Photo/ Video Experience
A minimum of 2+ years of study in photography or a videography-related field is strongly preferred.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
You must be able to resolve issues quickly and effectively – especially when feedback is coming from multiple sources.
Entrepreneurial / go-getter attitude

Ability to work alone and in group settings
Although editing may require periods of deep concentration, much of the work you’ll be doing relies on coaching and collaboration.
Time management & organizational skills
Although we do have a stellar project management team to back you up, your organization skills need to be on point in order to keep your clients (and team) on track.

Do you have experience with any of the following? If so, let us know!
- Experience at a marketing agency
- Brand concepts and strategies
- Adobe Suite experience (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or XD)
- Experience using Teamwork, Asana, Monday, Trello, or another project management software
- Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
