Position Summary:

Cardinal Home Center is hiring a part-time Web Production Assistant to support our online product content work. This role is a good fit for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with writing and editing, and able to follow clear processes. The Web Production Assistant will help create and maintain product content for our website, including product titles, long descriptions, bullet points, specifications, meta title & descriptions, keywords and other related details.

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, with the possibility of remote work as the role develops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing and editing product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and specifications
• Entering and updating product content accurately
• Following standard operating procedures for content formatting and production
• Reviewing work carefully for accuracy, consistency, spelling, grammar, and formatting
• Meeting assigned production quotas and deadlines
• Communicating questions or issues clearly when product information is missing or unclear
• Maintaining a consistent, customer-friendly tone across product content

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and standard operating procedures
• Comfort working independently once trained
• Ability to stay focused on repetitive, detail-heavy tasks
• Willingness to learn Cardinal’s product categories and content standards
