Civil Science, a leading engineering and design firm, is hiring a Visual/Graphic Designer to lead visual branding and creative design across the company. This role is ideal for creative designers with a strong background in graphic design within the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for transforming complex engineering concepts and content into compelling visual experiences that strengthen Civil Science’s brand voice and presence.

This position will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Civil Science, producing creative assets for internal and external audiences.
- Lead visual branding across the company, including proposals, marketing materials, digital campaigns, and conference collateral
- Translate complex engineering content into clear, engaging visuals
- Design polished layouts and graphics for both print and digital platforms (infographics, presentations, flyers, banners, slide decks, etc.)
- Develop consistent marketing materials tailored to different teams and project types
- Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, project managers, and cross-functional teams to align visual content with company goals
- Support digital initiatives such as web graphics, social media assets, and animations/GIFs
- Partner with marketing to shape strategic visual communication
These responsibilities require both creative excellence and a deep understanding of how design supports business communication.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience
, ideally within the A/E/C industry - Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and foundational design skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with multiple teams
- Ability to translate technical ideas into clear, visual storytelling
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience is preferred
