Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Apparel Graphic Designer for a contract position. This role is a hybrid of a production artist and a graphic designer, focusing on apparel for basketball athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating existing graphic designs into technical schematics for factory production and working on projects related to prominent basketball leagues and athletes.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a production artist and graphic designer for cut and sew apparel.
- Transfer designs from other graphics to create detailed schematics for factories.
- Develop schematics for various application techniques including screen prints, sublimations, trims, and rhinestones.
- Create line art for product creation.
- Work with the basketball graphic design team on various projects.
A minimum of five+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer in the apparel design industry is required.
- Demonstrated experience as a production artist and graphic designer for cut‑and‑sew apparel.
- Experience with promotional and basketball athlete wear.
- Ability to present a portfolio with 3-5 project examples, including schematics, line art, and apparel graphic designs, particularly in athletic wear.
- Experience working directly with athletes or a strong interest in basketball.
