LMD Agency is an established, fast-paced, full-service marketing and branding firm headquartered in Columbia, Maryland. The agency seeks a talented Graphic Designer in the DMV to join its creative team. The candidate must possess superior Adobe Creative Suite skills with an emphasis on graphic design, illustration, and motion graphics; a keen eye for design; and critical thinking skills to join its award-winning team.

This role is contingent upon LMD being awarded the federal contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide graphic design support for publications, presentations, fact sheets, reports, and other communications materials to enhance the understanding of the client’s goals, mission, and programs.
  • Create dynamic data visualization graphics.
  • Develop infographics to visually depict program information for the intended audiences.
  • Produce motion graphics and video animations.
  • Design graphics, icons, and other illustration material, digitally optimized and ready for web and print use.
  • Create or refresh templates for standard products such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers, and reports.
  • Establish a central repository accessible by all employees for creative assets.
  • Provide design services for booths, displays, banners, and exhibits, including updating booth graphics as needed.
  • Ensure all graphics and products created are 508 compliant.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Currently holds, or can obtain, DHS Public Trust certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Media and Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated excellence across all creative functions.
  • Experience with print and web‑related graphic design (full Adobe Suite).
  • Custom illustration skills (Adobe Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exhibit design and installation experience.
  • Photography post‑production (Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom).
  • Videography post‑production (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder).
  • Audio editing and mixing (Adobe Audition, Audacity).
  • Some 3D modeling (Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender 3D, Cinema 4D, Google Sketchup, Kerkythea Rendering System, nGrain) – Intermediate.
  • Dynamic interactive forms (Adobe Live Cycle Designer, Adobe Acrobat Pro).
  • Product development and branding expertise.
  • Print production knowledge.
  • 508 compliance knowledge.
  • Versatility on Mac and PC platforms.
Job Location
  • Hybrid position with remote work options on an EST workday. Monday‑Friday, 9 am – 5 pm EST.
