Overview

Zillow Media Experts is seeking experienced photographers for part‑time real estate media work in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves capturing high‑quality photos, videos, 3‑D interactive floor plans, and drone media to help real estate agents market listings.

• Capture industry‑leading still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, and drone photography & videos (as needed).
• Use advanced photography techniques and equipment to showcase unique features of each property.
• Coordinate with clients on site to understand photography needs and provide guidance.
• Ensure all photographs adhere to brand guidelines and accurately represent the property.
• Maintain and manage photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and accessories.
• Organize and upload captured media for post‑processing, meeting all deadlines and appointment punctuality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve skills.
• Collaborate with regional managers, market leaders, other photographers, and external partners to deliver cohesive visual assets.
• Adapt to future media, product, or processing changes and represent Zillow Media Experts professionally.

• Experience capturing high‑quality photography, preferably in real estate (exterior, interior, videos, 3D tours, drone media).
• Deep understanding of photography fundamentals with DSLR or mirrorless systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, able to drive within a 60+ mile radius of city center.
• A minimum of 20 hours per week of availability (part‑time).
• Internet upload speed of at least 15
  
  Mbps strongly preferred.
• Location near Pittsburgh, PA.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining photography equipment.
• Ability to learn Zillow Media Expert processes and computer systems.
• May be expected to obtain an FAA Part 107 drone license and complete drone training if required.

• Professional full‑frame or crop‑sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera capable of 5‑bracket AEB (e.g., CanonR7, R5, 6
  
  DmkII, 5
  
  DmkIV).
• Wide‑angle lens (Full‑frame
  15‑35mm, Crop
  10‑22mm).
• Ball head or geared head tripod (video fluid head tripods are not acceptable).

This role is remote. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states. Pay ranges differ by location: in Boston, NYC and surrounding areas $24.10–$38.50 per hour; in other states $22.90–$36.50 per hour. Pay ranges apply to the specified locations and may not be applicable elsewhere.
