Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team Overview
A leading AI lab is building models that sharpen and upscale video, and it needs people who can tell, frame by frame, whether the result actually holds up. We are assembling a small group of reviewers with a rigorously trained eye, the kind that catches the compression artifacts, noise, aliasing, and softness that most viewers never notice. If you have spent years judging image quality at a professional level, this is that same skill applied to AI output.
This is a part-time W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.
Who We Are Looking For- Visual Effects (VFX) Supervisor: the authority on final image quality, with an elite eye for pixel-level flaws, grain-structure inconsistencies, and visual artifacts.
- Rendering Supervisor: used to running dailies and owning visual quality down to the pixel.
- Lighting Supervisor, Lead, or Artist: a specialist in illumination and the building blocks of digital video and cinematic motion.
- Colorist: deep experience in color grading, artifact detection, and visual consistency across a sequence.
- Director of Photography (DP) or Cinematographer: skilled at framing and at judging sharpness and detail in high-resolution images.
- Effects or Surfacing Artist: strong command of textures, materials, and complex visual simulation.
- High-End Photographer: a feel for lighting, depth of field, and color artifacts in high-resolution captures.
- Director: especially with experience directing crowd and background action.
- Digital Projectionist: a trained eye for final-output quality, screen-level fidelity, and visual anomalies.
- Fluent in English.
- 7 to 10 years of experience: in high-end visual evaluation across film, VFX, or professional photography.
- Training from a university or program with a highly respected film, visual effects, or digital media program.
- Reliable access to a 4K-resolution monitor for precise, pixel-level review.
- AI proficiency: familiarity with AI tools and workflows, including the ability to generate your own visual samples for testing and comparison.
- The ability to translate complex visual details into clear, precise language that can be captured in data captions and evaluation templates.
