Social Media Assistant

Lasting Media is a creative media agency that functions as an outsourced media division for our clients. We handle brand storytelling, content production, social media, and video across a range of industries. We are growing, and we need someone who can help carry the social media side of our operation and grow with the role. This is not a scheduling-only position.

We need someone who can create content and manage the calendar. If you have a genuine interest in both, we want to hear from you.

• Work directly with and report to the Social Media Director, on all content creation
• Create platform-native content for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, X, and You Tube Shorts across multiple client accounts
• Write captions, develop short-form scripts, and produce graphics using Canva
• Build and manage content calendars and handle publishing through Vista Social
• Collaborate with our video team to ensure content is cut and formatted correctly for each platform
• Contribute ideas in creative strategy sessions and bring a point of view on what is and is not working
• Stay curious about platform changes, algorithm shifts, and content trends

• Some hands‑on experience with social media content creation, whether through internships, freelance work, or your own channels
• Strong writing ability. Clear, conversational copy that sounds like a human being wrote it
• Familiarity with Canva and a willingness to learn Vista Social quickly
• An eye for visual consistency and brand voice across platforms
• A self‑starter who takes initiative and does not wait to be told what to do next
• Someone with genuine ambition who wants to grow with the role and the company
• Someone who takes ownership and follows through without being chased
• Comfort operating without a detailed playbook. We build the playbook together

• A remote position. We work together in Franklin and the collaboration is part of how we do our best work.
