Brand Designer

Overview

Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing, the foundation of the industry, is currently highly manual and costly. We provide large insurers with software solutions to enable a modern, technology-driven approach, from self-service claim filing to backend fraud detection. The challenges we face range from creating digital experiences that comfort claimants under stress to orchestrating large-scale ML-driven decision making on billions of dollars of claims payments.

• Showcase a deep understanding of typography, color theory, grids, and more.
• Maintain a strong sense of storytelling across marketing and sales assets, including responsive websites, integrated campaigns, high-stakes pitch decks, editorial print production, and more.
• Collaborate with web developers, 3D artists, motion designers, graphic designers, copywriters, sound designers and stakeholders on delivering high‑quality designs and bringing ideas to life.
• Create and maintain design systems and brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• 8+ years of experience as a web designer, interactive designer, or brand designer (ideally at a SaaS start‑up).
• Deep experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Proficient in interactive prototyping, wire framing and storyboarding.
• A refined eye for typography, layout, color, and brand consistency.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both web/interactive design and brand design work across a range of formats.
• Strategic thinker who can turn business needs into smart, brand-forward design.
• Familiarity with performance design and working alongside growth or web teams.
• Bonus: experience with motion design, 3D or CSS.

Compensation Range: $155K - $185K
