Salary Range: $83,500 - $92,250 per year.
The above base pay range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair's total compensation package for employees. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commissions and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive suite of medical, financial and additional benefits.

Wayfair is seeking a highly creative Senior Design Associate with exceptional visual taste to join our Brand Creative team. This role is focused on elevating the quality, distinctiveness, and impact of our creative output using both strong design fundamentals and emerging AI tools to push the work forward.
You are a designer with a sharp eye and a high bar for craft who understands how to create work that feels both on-brand and culturally relevant. You use AI not as a shortcut, but as a tool to explore new creative territory, unlock new formats, and bring ideas to life more dynamically.
You will partner with Creative Directors and cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class creative while helping the team evolve how AI can enhance, not replace, strong design thinking.
What You'll DoElevate Creative Quality- Bring a highly refined design sensibility and strong point of view to all work
- Execute visually compelling, brand-right creative across campaigns and channels (digital and print)
- Uphold and push the boundaries of Wayfair's visual identity
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative imagery, design assistants, motion/video tools) to explore new visual directions and unlock new creative possibilities
- Use AI to rapidly concept, iterate, and prototype ideas (increasing both speed and creative range)
- Collaborate with design peers to pressure-test emerging AI tools, identifying and documenting best practices to help the broader team adopt more efficient, tech-forward workflows
- Identify opportunities where AI can enhance storytelling, not just production
- Translate business goals into distinctive, insight-driven creative concepts
- Contribute original ideas that feel fresh, relevant, and ownable to the brand
- Iterate quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality
- Design for scale by building repeatable, modular systems rather than one-off assets
- Design high-performing assets across on-site, email, social, and paid channels
- Ensure consistency and excellence across formats while adapting to channel needs
- Partner with Creative Directors, Copy, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns
- Contribute to creative discussions with a clear point of view and strong rationale
- Exceptional Taste:
Portfolio demonstrates strong visual judgment, originality, and attention to detail; clear point of view on design, with the ability to elevate everyday creative. - AI-Forward Creative Thinker:
Comfortable using AI tools to support concepting, image-making, and iteration; sees AI as a creative amplifier (not just a production tool). - Strong Design Fundamentals:
Deep understanding of typography, layout, color, and composition; able to execute quickly without sacrificing quality. - Curious & Experimental:
Actively explores new tools, trends, and visual directions; brings new ideas and inspiration into the team. - Collaborative & Impact-Oriented:
Works well across functions and thrives in a fast-paced environment; independently manages and prioritizes multiple projects simultaneously; understands how creative contributes to business performance; brings a positive energy that contributes to team morale.
This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston HQ (Monday-Thursday will be working in office and Friday is work from home). This is not a virtual / remote position.
