Your new role...
Filiale of Warner Bros. Discovery, Eurosport is the preferred destination for sports fans in Europe with the broadcasting of the world's greatest sporting events, including the Olympic Games.
Site reference of sports information in France, Eurosport.fr follows the major events broadcast by the channel. The newsroom is also mobilized 7 days a week to cover all sports news, from football to motorsports, through tennis or rugby.
In this context, you will be attached to the Chief Editors and fully integrated into the Eurosport newsroom, you participate in the production of content for our site, app and social media platforms and in their elaboration during editorial meetings.
Your duties...
- Proposal and writing of articles, analyses and reports.
- Major sports: football, tennis, cycling, Olympic sports, alpine, biathlon, motorsports, rugby.
- According to the profile, training during the year as Front Page Editor (FPE) = management of web and mobile home pages, mobile notifications.
- According to the profile and level, participation in video projects in vertical/storytelling on social networks.
You...
Your expertise...
- You will prepare a minimum level of education of bachelor's degree in journalism, Sciences Po or university starting at the fall.
- Your level of English is common in writing and speaking (B2 minimum), and your level of French is bilingual/native.
- Your excellent sports culture, your interest in sports business and societal issues will allow you to succeed in the proposed missions.
- You have impeccable spelling.
- You have a first journalistic experience (internship, apprenticeship and/or first freelance work).
- You have a very good knowledge of social media platforms.
- If you master tools used for video editing (Premiere Pro, Capcut...) it is a plus.
Your attitude...
- Your attention to detail and proven organizational skills make you a reliable person.
- You like to work in a team and show proactivity.
Other important information:
- You will be required to work in shift hours depending on the needs (evenings and weekends).
- Our newsroom is in flex-office with partial remote work (2 days a week).
