Position Summary
The Director Styling is crucial for setting the styling vision for the Tommy Hilfiger brand on a global scale. This role ensures creative consistency and elevation of the work of all styling and product marketing teams, working closely with the Chief Design Officer and Chief Product Officer. The Director balances commercial and brand considerations, drives the brand into the affordable luxury space, and supports global campaigns, sell‑in materials, and tier‑1 & tier‑2 campaigns.
Responsibilities
Lead styling direction for “On‑Model” and “Still‑Life” imagery against brand standards
Own all styling output with accountability for outfit composition and product display
Build, manage and lead freelance styling talent pool to deliver elevated imagery against global guidelines
Continually improve aesthetic standard alongside the Senior Director of Creative Direction
Develop and maintain brand styling guidelines to ensure brand elevation and alignment to campaigns and brand moments
Connect with product divisions to analyse consumer style trends and data to inform creative decisions
Develop, test and implement new scalable styling and outfitting processes
Attend seasonal divisional briefings to understand and translate styling themes and key looks
Consistently review shoot practices to drive efficiencies against the quality bar
Role‑model PVH Leadership Behaviors, fostering inclusive and adaptive leadership
Fully own the operational process, define and measure KPIs
Expert in managing priorities and setting boundaries to safeguard health and wellbeing for self and others
Ideal Candidate
15+ years of experience in styling roles within premium or lifestyle fashion brands, with a strong portfolio that resonates with contemporary, fashion‑conscious consumers
Proven ability to balance creative vision with commercial objectives across multi‑channel platforms, including .Com, campaigns, and sell‑in materials
7+ years of managerial experience, with a track record of leading and inspiring creative teams, managing freelance talent pools, and setting clear priorities for efficient, high‑quality output
Experienced in developing and scaling global styling processes, ensuring consistency, operational efficiency, and alignment with brand elevation goals
Strong skills in managing priorities and expectations across all levels, with the ability to set boundaries while maintaining a collaborative and results‑driven environment
Effective communicator, experienced in managing upwards, downwards, and laterally, engaging with senior leadership, teams, and external partners to translate business goals into creative styling directions
Analytical mindset to interpret consumer trends and data to inform styling decisions while maintaining alignment with divisional briefings and key looks
Fluent in English, with strong supplier and stakeholder management abilities, capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, global environment
