About the Position
We are seeking an Assistant Director of Music Ministry to support the Director of Music Ministry in organization, planning, communication, and production of liturgical music for a bi‑lingual program. Flexibility in scope may exist based on candidate strengths.
Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and production of music for masses, funerals, weddings, and other special events
- Coordinate and communicate with music volunteers, musicians, and parishioners
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks
- Some evening and weekend work may be required
- Knowledge of and experience with Catholic liturgy and music
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred
- Semi‑professional or professional level vocal or piano/organ performance abilities are a huge plus
Salary: per experience and job responsibilities
Hours:
flexible 15–20 hours per week. Remote work possible.
