Video Editor Intern; School Credit

Star Magic is a Los Angeles based mobile boutique and experiential wellness brand specializing in immersive tarot and astrology experiences for private events, brand activations, festivals, and pop-ups. We are launching an astrology podcast and are seeking a creative Video Editor Intern to help bring our content to life.

• Edit 10–15 podcast episodes from 30–45 minutes of raw 4K footage into polished 20-minute episodes
• Create engaging cuts optimized for You Tube and digital platforms
• Assist with basic organization of footage and project files
• Incorporate feedback and revisions throughout the editing process
• Help identify compelling moments that can be repurposed into short-form social media clips

• Current student or recent graduate in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Access to your own editing equipment and software
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Approximately 5–10 hours per week
• Flexible schedule

• Social media clip creation and repurposing
• Client feedback and revision processes
• Real-world experience working with a growing media and experiential brand
