Remote Content Specialist; Cambridge

Canada, remote. Part time: 20 hrs/week, 6-month contract to start with opportunity to renew.

Reporting to the Head of Campaign Success, you’ll take initiative with assigned campaigns to find and frame impactful stories, shaping them into compelling donor‑facing content that inspires action. You’ll lead the development and editing of campaign narratives, donor email campaigns, and platform‑wide storytelling initiatives.

• Take initiative with assigned campaigns to uncover powerful story angles and transform them into clear, emotionally resonant content.
• Write, edit, and produce high‑impact donor email campaigns that spotlight urgent, impactful causes and drive donations.
• Collaborate with the Campaign Success team to refine campaign narratives and ensure consistency with Chuffed’s voice and mission.
• Develop and maintain Chuffed’s editorial standards, ensuring every story reflects our values.
• Track content performance and optimize future campaigns based on insights and data.

• Proven background in content writing, publishing, journalism, or digital marketing with a knack for finding and framing stories that connect emotionally and drive action.
• Sharp editorial eye and ability to balance compelling storytelling with strategic impact; demonstrated research and thoughtful questioning.
• Organized, self‑directed, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Data‑savvy, with a focus on evaluating what works and iterating accordingly.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support workflow and scale production, applying critical judgment and a human touch.
• Thrives in fast‑moving environments, takes projects from concept to completion, decisive, and avoids perfectionism.
• Resourceful and adaptable, able to figure things out and keep moving forward.

Hourly rate: $50 CAD.

6‑month contract with opportunity for ongoing work as the organization scales in North America.

Fully remote; work from anywhere in Canada.

Collaborate with activists worldwide, supporting campaigns that fund organizers fighting for justice across the globe.
