Remote Copy Editor at Pagemasters North America

Become a part of Page masters North America as a temporary, part-time copy editor/paginator. This remote role focuses on editing and designing print newspaper pages in evenings and weekends.

This position requires candidates living in Canada, working one to three shifts per week, primarily during evenings until 12:30 a.m. ET. Ideal applicants will possess strong copy editing experience, excellent headline writing skills, and solid news judgment to meet daily deadlines. Your background in journalism and superior communication skills contribute to delivering exceptional customer service as you support American print newspaper clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and design print newspaper pages effectively

• Write accurate and compelling headlines and display copy

• Ensure accuracy and meet daily deadlines

• Provide exceptional customer service on all assignments

• Collaborate on various content types including sports coverage

Requirements:

• Solid experience in copy editing and layout design

• Background in journalism preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent news judgment in fast-paced environments
