We're looking for a creative Short-Form Video Editor to transform long-form podcast recordings into engaging Instagram Reels that capture attention and drive engagement. If you have a strong instinct for storytelling, know how to identify viral moments, and can create polished social-first content, we'd love to hear from you.

• Turn 60‑minute podcast recordings into engaging Instagram Reels and short‑form videos.
• Identify the strongest 30–60 second moments and craft compelling hooks that capture attention immediately.
• Edit talking‑head videos, founder updates, behind‑the‑scenes content, and business‑focused clips.
• Create clean, readable captions with burned‑in subtitles optimized for mobile viewing.
• Deliver polished vertical videos that feel native to Instagram.
• Identify standalone clips with high engagement potential from longer recordings.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style.

• Proven experience editing short‑form content for Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, or You Tube Shorts.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
• Excellent judgment in selecting compelling moments from long‑form content.
• Experience editing founder, business, podcast, or operator‑style content.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following:
  Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Cap Cut, Descript, and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong caption design skills with attention to readability and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Able to work in PST business hours.
