About The Chess Hub The Chess Hub is a global chess education and media brand with students across multiple countries. Beyond coaching, we're building a community through tournaments, meetups, podcasts, merchandise, and digital content with the goal of making chess more accessible and engaging for everyone.
We're looking for a creative, organized, and growth-oriented  Social Media & Community Manager  who understands chess and can help build one of the fastest-growing chess brands across digital platforms.
Responsibilities  Develop and execute a monthly social media content strategy.
Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Linked In, Facebook, You Tube, and X.
Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content consistently.
Write compelling captions, reels, and post copy aligned with our brand voice.
Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, photographers, and content creators.
Cover tournaments, academy events, meetups, podcasts, and special projects through social media.
Build and engage our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Create content around student achievements, coach highlights, testimonials, educational tips, tournament updates, and behind-the-scenes moments.
Stay updated with chess news, major tournaments, player achievements, and trending topics to create relevant and engaging content.
Monitor social media trends and adapt them creatively for the chess community.
Track performance using analytics and prepare monthly growth reports with actionable insights.
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, partnerships, merchandise launches, and influencer collaborations.
Requirements   A strong understanding of chess is mandatory.  You should be familiar with chess terminology, major tournaments, top players, and be able to create content that resonates with the global chess community.
2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Linked In, Facebook, You Tube, and X.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
Basic understanding of content performance metrics and analytics.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, branding, and community building.

Preferred Qualifications  Playing experience or an active interest in competitive chess.
Experience working with chess organizations, sports brands, esports, or educational institutions.
Familiarity with Canva and basic photo/video editing tools.
Experience running or supporting Meta advertising campaigns is a plus.
