Job Overview

Melon Studio is seeking a creative and motivated Video Editor to support our growing content and branding initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, a creative mindset, and a solid understanding of modern digital content trends.

You will collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to produce visually compelling and brand-aligned content that meets strategic objectives and delivers impactful results.

This position will initially be Remote (Work From Home). Based on business requirements and performance, the role may transition to Work From Office at a later stage.

Freshers and Experienced Candidates are Welcome to Apply. Whether you're beginning your creative career or already have professional experience, we encourage passionate individuals with strong editing skills to join our team.

Candidates with videography experience will be eligible for additional performance-based incentives.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Edit and produce high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

* Create short-form and long-form content including Instagram Reels, You Tube videos, promotional videos, advertisements, and branded assets.

* Implement motion graphics, typography, transitions, visual effects, and animations where required.

* Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, engagement, and overall visual quality.

* Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand briefs and execute concepts effectively.

* Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and platform-specific content formats.

* Manage multiple projects, timelines, revisions, and deliverables efficiently.

* Optimize videos for different platforms including Instagram, You Tube, Facebook, and other digital channels.

* Maintain consistency in brand identity across all video content.

Qualifications

* Basic understanding of video editing principles and production workflows.

* Strong awareness of social media platforms and short-form content trends.

* Ability to accept feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously improve.

* A portfolio, showreel, or sample work demonstrating editing skills.

* Academic, freelance, internship, agency, or project-based experience is acceptable.

* Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a creative environment.

* Experience in videography and camera handling.

* Knowledge of content creation and social media marketing.

* Experience working with creators, brands, or agency projects.
