OVERVIEWJoin our team as a Social Media Intern!
At Cambrick Yard, our strategy and planning team is made up of inventive, digitally-minded creators who understand nuances of journalistic and news reporting cornerstones while providing informative, useful, and fun narratives.
Ideal candidates have some experience with social media, and are passionate, creative, and willing to learn! Candidates will be working with a small, closely-knit team to manage dozens of social media channels across several platforms with detailed information from different brands. Work may include after-hours and weekend projects. In our business, stories can pop up at any time, and we have to be ready to react at a moment’s notice.
In the ever-evolving environment of online content, the rules change quickly; the successful candidate will not only keep up, but will be a trendsetter.
- Contribute to a creative team of strategic thinkers to grow our brands through social channels
- Ensure timely distribution of news and engagement content to our readers
- Post content to multiple social platforms throughout the day while also managing individual projects
- Interact with readers and followers through comments and messages in a professional manner that also aligns with the brand voice
- Track and utilize analytics/metrics for our platforms to continue to build our content’s reach, engagement, link clicks, and more
- Contribute to strategic decisions involving brand awareness
- Experience with multiple social media platforms
- Pursuing or recently earned a Degree in Media or Marketing related field, preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Motivation for personal and team success with the ability to look for data-driven results
- Must have some Disney knowledge
- Exhibit creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable about Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, Pinterest, You Tube, Tik Tok and other social media platforms
- Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

This is a remote position that will start as a 1099 Contractor with a $15 per hour rate
