3D Generalist / Animator: End-to-end production including asset creation, rigging, animation, and rendering.
3D Environment Artist (Real-Time): Creating optimized assets and level dressing inside engines like Unreal or Unity.
Technical Artist: Bridging art and tech through tool creation, scripting, and pipeline optimization.
Motion Graphics 3D Generalist: Kinetic design, branding, and broadcast visuals using Cinema 4D and After Effects.
Production Generalist (Jr/Mid/Sr): Pipeline execution, troubleshooting, and asset delivery based on experience level.
Lead Generalist / Supervisor: Managing team workflows, maintaining visual consistency, and mentoring talent.

About the RoleJoin as a Junior 3D Layout Artist and master the art of digital cinematography. This role is dedicated to the “Camera and Staging” phase of our pipeline, where storyboards are translated into a 3D environment. You will focus on camera movement, lens selection, and scene composition in Blender
, ensuring that every shot effectively communicates the narrative’s emotional weight and pacing.
- Generalist Focus: We are looking for a 3D Generalist. While this role focuses on cameras and layout, you must possess a versatile skill set across the Blender pipeline (modeling, basic rigging, and scene assembly). Please do not apply if you are not a 3D Generalist and you have zero knowledge about blender.

* This unpaid internship is designed to provide mentorship and portfolio growth. You will work under the supervision of experienced artists to learn the nuances of virtual cinematography, focal lengths, and spatial storytelling within a narrative production.
Key Responsibilities- Camera Execution: Set up and animate 3D cameras in Blender, utilizing camera rigs and constraints to achieve cinematic movement.
- Composition & Staging: Translate 2D storyboards into 3D scenes, placing characters and props (blocking) to create visually balanced and impactful shots.
- Cinematic Timing: Apply principles of pacing and “cutting” within Blender’s timeline/sequencer to ensure seamless transitions between shots.
- Technical Optimization: Manage depth of field, motion blur, and focal targets to guide the viewer’s eye through complex 3D environments.
- Collaborative Reviews: Participate in production meetings to understand how camera angles and movement contribute to the overall storytelling of the project.
- 3D Generalist Skillset: A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in Blender across multiple disciplines (modeling, layout, and animation). This is a strict requirement.
- Cinematic Foundations: A solid understanding of camera lenses, the “Rule of Thirds,” and how camera movement affects the mood of a scene.
- Education: Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) an Animation, Film, or related Fine Arts program.

High proficiency in Blender (specifically the Graph Editor, Camera Constraints, and Viewport Shading). - Learning Mindset: Seeking academic credit or mentorship to bridge the gap between student assignments and professional‑grade layout production.
