Quad-City Times Summer Internship – News Reporter

Full‑time, 10‑week paid internship over the summer with flexible start date.

The successful candidate will gain hands‑on reporting experience across a variety of beats for the award‑winning Quad‑City Times and Dispatch‑Argus, and will contribute to project reporting initiatives.

• Produce compelling content for both digital and print platforms.
• Research, pitch, and cover community stories.
• Collaborate with senior reporters on in‑depth project reporting.

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program in journalism or recent graduation from such a program.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.

Combined newsroom in East Moline, Iowa. Remotely based work is not an option.
