JM Services and Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Copy Editor to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The Copy Editor will review and edit various written materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

• Review and edit a variety of written materials, including articles, reports, press releases, marketing materials, and more.
• Ensure all written materials adhere to company style and branding guidelines.
• Check for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
• Fact‑check information and sources to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with writers and other team members to improve overall quality of written materials.
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve their writing skills.
• Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and changes in language usage.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a copy editor or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
• Proficient in using editing and proofreading tools.
• Familiarity with AP Style and other style guides.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of SEO and online content best practices is a plus.
