Light catcher is seeking an experienced Senior Animator with over three years in 3D animation using MAYA, specifically in feature or series production. This role emphasizes strong performance and acting abilities, along with the capacity to mentor junior animators and refine workflows. Success in this role requires a keen understanding of the animation style and effective collaboration with the animation team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate mastery of animation techniques, exceeding quality standards
• Provide mentorship to junior animators, elevating their skills
• Ensure cohesive flow and continuity across animations
• Streamline shot approvals for efficiency
• Tackle complex animation challenges proactively
Requirements:
• Over three years of 3D animation experience with MAYA
• Strong background as a Senior/Lead in a similar animation style
• Teaching skills to develop the team technically and artistically
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to interpret storyboards and direct a team
