BREAKFAST SHOW PRESENTER (Volunteer)

Welwyn Hatfield Radio is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable volunteer presenter to host our NEW Breakfast Show Monday-Friday 6:00am-9:00am & Saturday 8:00am-10:00am.

As the voice that starts our listeners' day, you'll be responsible for delivering an engaging mix of music, local information, travel updates, community news, competitions and entertainment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broadcasting experience, develop presentation skills, build a media portfolio, or simply become part of a growing local radio station.

• Present a live radio programme.
• Prepare and deliver relevant local content.
• Operate studio equipment (training provided).
• Promote local events, charities and businesses.
• Engage with listeners through social media and station platforms.
• Work with the station team to maintain a professional and entertaining programme.

• Confident and personable communication skills.
• Reliability and commitment.
• A genuine interest in local community radio.
• Ability to work independently.
• Previous broadcasting experience is beneficial but not essential.

• Professional radio training and support.
• Experience presenting on a licensed radio station.
• Opportunities to attend community events and broadcasts.
• References and portfolio material.
• Potential progression into paid broadcasting opportunities.
