Fashion Design Assistant

Position: Fashion Design Assistant Hybrid Role
Be a part of RCL – Reitmans Canada Limited as a Fashion Design Assistant, where you will innovate and create beautiful collections in a supportive, hybrid environment. Engage in trend research and product development as a crucial member of our design team.

In this role, you’ll actively assist in developing seasonal collections through sketch creation, trend analysis, and presentation preparation. Successful candidates will have a passion for fashion, strong illustration skills, and a collaborative spirit. Your contributions will play a significant role in shaping high-quality collections that resonate with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and submit fashion sketches for projects

• Research and analyze current fashion trends

• Prepare presentations and merchandising boards

• Coordinate sample management and follow-ups

• Keep collection documents and boards organized

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a related fashion design role

• Bachelor's or diploma in Fashion Design

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

• Bilingual in both English and French

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
