Position: Writer (Eatbook)

We're looking for a passionate and driven Writer to join the Eatbook team. In this role, you'll pitch and produce engaging food content for Eatbook.sg and branded client projects, develop in-depth long-form features through research and interviews, and contribute to our social media presence through compelling organic content. If you have a strong interest in food, a knack for storytelling, and enjoy uncovering unique angles that resonate with audiences, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do:

Writing & Content Creation

Pitch and produce content for Eatbook.sg and client projects
Develop long-form features, including research and interviews, to maintain a strong pipeline of in-depth food content
Execute organic content for social media, including Instagram Stories, captions, and related duties
Assist editors with content planning and execution
Mentor and guide interns, including managing their work, motivating them, and supporting their well-being

A successful candidate should have:

At least 1 year of experience in content writing, editorial, journalism, media, or digital publishing (food content experience is a strong advantage)
Degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines is advantageous
Strong command of written English, with the ability to craft engaging, accurate, and reader-friendly content
Proven ability to pitch story ideas and identify trends that resonate with online audiences
Comfortable conducting research and interviews to develop in-depth, long-form features
Passion for food culture and the F&B scene in Singapore
Meticulous with fact-checking, grammar, and attention to detail
Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus
Portfolio of published writing samples is required
