Many communities lack access to art supplies and creative outlets, especially underserved populations. This limits opportunities for self-expression, mental well-being, and community connection. Just Add Creative envisions bringing art to communities to enhance mental health, support educational success, and improve critical thinking. Shape our voice. Share the mission. Build a creative community.Just Add Creative (JAC), a Lake Worth Beach–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking a Volunteer Social Media Intern to help grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In while telling the story of our creative community.
JAC distributes free craft kits to underserved communities and highlights local artists through interviews, events, and creative partnerships. In this role, you’ll help share those stories and bring our mission to life online.
This position is ideal for a student, emerging creative, or early-career marketer interested in nonprofit storytelling, social media strategy, and community arts.
This role may qualify for volunteer hours or internship credit
, depending on your academic program.
Location
Remote, but applicants must be local to South Florida and available to attend occasional community events in the Lake Worth Beach area.
What You’ll Do

  • Help brainstorm creative content ideas with our team
  • Post about twice per month on Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In
  • Write engaging captions and create visuals using Canva or similar tools
  • Share event announcements, artist highlights, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Attend occasional events to capture photos or short videos

Time Commitment
4–6 hours per month with flexible scheduling.

  • Enjoy social media storytelling and community engagement
  • Are organized, reliable, and proactive
  • Have experience with Instagram, Facebook, or Linked In
Bonus if you’re familiar with Canva or social media scheduling tools.
