We are currently seeking a Content Specialist:
Linear Channels to join our Content and Programming team. This position reports to the Manager of Linear Video Programming. This is a 13-month temporary contract to cover a maternity leave.
Your day-to-day
Schedule linear content (program schedule) for various Stingray video channels offered via streaming (FAST) worldwide.Coordinate and execute linear and non-linear schedules in accordance with the Programming Director’s strategy and guidelines.Contribute to channel programming strategies, content selection, and monthly highlights.Coordinate operations related to channel programming.Manage, maintain, and update the content inventory in our CMS.Create and manage content information (descriptions, TV ratings, rights, coding, etc.).Maintain relationships and communication with external clients.Analyze channel data and content performance.Work closely with Stingray’s internal marketing and sales teams in Montreal and internationally to promote channel content and programming highlights.Other related tasksYour qualifications
At least 2 years of relevant experience in television programming, production, or TV/video content distribution.Familiarity with traditional television, FAST, and/or VOD platformsWritten and spoken English. This position also requires the ability to communicate in French.Experience with content scheduling tools and softwareProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and OutlookExperience with task management tools such as Jira and WrikeStrong judgment, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous approachTeam spirit and collaboration skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressureStrong ability to coordinate projects in a media environment: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and propose solutionsKnowledge of languages other than English and French is a plusLife at Stingray
