Position: Digital and Print Designer (Remote EST)
Location:

100% Remote (Onshore U.S. candidates only; core working hours in EST; potential for occasional travel)
Contract Duration: 8-month W2 Contract; potential for extension

Compensation Range: $38.00 - $41.00/hr (max)
Are you a versatile, high-volume designer who thrives on creative variety-from complex, information-rich print materials to engaging motion graphics and short-form video content? Cella has partnered with a leading EdTech and publishing organization to find a talented Designer to join an innovative, in-house creative team. In this role, you will help bring a recognized brand to life across print, digital, social, email, video, and presentation channels while collaborating with a welcoming, supportive team.

Responsibilities:

Designing engaging visual content for marketing campaigns across print, digital, social, email, video, and presentations.

Collaborating closely with creative directors, marketers, writers, and project managers to translate strategic goals into compelling visuals.

Conceptualizing and executing creative ideas from initial concept through to final production and file delivery.

Managing multiple projects simultaneously while navigating tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Maintaining and evolving brand standards to ensure visual consistency across all channels.

Leveraging emerging creative technologies, including AI tools, to enhance creativity and streamline workflows.

Staying current with design, technology, and cultural trends to bring fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

5-7 years of graphic design experience within an in-house marketing team or agency.

Portfolio & Profile: A strong portfolio demonstrating modern visual design (editorial, print, static and animated paid media, integrated marketing campaigns, and typography) along with an active Linked In profile.

Technical Expertise:
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and comfort strategically using AI tools.

Core Competencies:

A strong systems mindset to design across ecosystems, exceptional organization for file/workflow management, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Pluses):

Experience with Figma and/or Adobe Firefly. Experience creating motion graphics and short-form video content. Familiarity with Adobe Express templates, Slate for social content, and project management tools like Asana or Page Proof. Opportunity
