CCFWE seeks four dedicated volunteers to contribute as Social Justice Writers.
Your role will include creating engaging content that reflects the organization's mission and resonates with audiences. Responsibilities encompass researching storylines, interviewing program leads, and producing high-quality written material across various formats that raise awareness about economic abuse and gender-based violence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create written content for newsletters, blogs, and media releases
• Research and pitch relevant story ideas
• Conduct interviews to gather necessary information
• Edit and proofread content for clarity and consistency
• Raise awareness through impactful storytelling
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or related experience
• Preferred 2-3 years in writing or communications
• Strong research and editing abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
