Senior Designer

Location: El Segundo, CA on a hybrid schedule (working from home 2 days per week). Remote applicants will not be considered.

Role Type/Duration: Full-time 6-month W2 contract opportunity.

Compensation Range: $45 - 49 per hour.

Senior Designer - Global Creative to lead bold, high-level brand campaigns for an iconic, boundary‑pushing cosmetics name. Report directly to the AVP of Global Creative, spearheading 360 print and digital campaigns that celebrate self‑expression and defy boring clichés.

• Campaign Leadership:
  Leading high‑level design and brand campaigns across both print and digital platforms, overseeing full 360 delivery for major product launches and key brand moments.
• Cross‑Functional
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Partnering closely with Global Zones to identify creative needs, provide strategic support, manage project timelines, and navigate multiple rounds of feedback.
• Art Direction & External Partnerships:
  Providing artistic direction for photo shoots, delivering constructive feedback in post‑production, and collaborating with outside agencies to supplement cross‑functional requirements.
• Team Mentorship:
  Mentoring and managing a team of internal designers while effectively communicating concepts through visual comps and interactive prototypes.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 8 years in project management, creative leadership, and design concepting.
• Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience in the beauty and/or luxury industry preferred.
• Education:
  
  Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical Expertise:
  Expert knowledge of design principles (typography, color theory, page layout) and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); basic Mac/PC troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
• Portfolio:
  Strong portfolio demonstrating beauty‑focused design thinking and a sharp eye for typography and trends.

Pay offered will be based on factors including education, work experience, location, specific duties, and certifications.
