At Capricorn Creative, we design experiences people remember. We’re looking for a creative, fast-moving producer who can listen to a client, understand the business goal and desired ROI, and turn that conversation into a custom proposal within 24 hours. Once the project is secured, you’ll create the production-ready graphics and design assets needed for execution.

• Turn client conversations into polished, custom proposals within 24 hours.
• Use AI first for concepting, writing, renderings, presentations, research, and workflow.
• Create mood boards, visual concepts, and decks that make clients feel heard—and excited to say yes.
• Balance strong aesthetics with client objectives, budget, and measurable ROI.
• Produce execution-ready files, including vector artwork, floor plans, signage, event branding, event builds print layouts, and graphics.
• Stay ahead of trends across Pinterest, social media, hospitality, fashion, architecture, and experiential design.
• Partner with the production team so approved concepts are delivered accurately on site and oversee that the transfer of information has been carefully relayed to internal and external teams to ensure a successful event.

• You have a strong eye for typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling that translates to experiential storytelling.
• AI is already part of how you think and work—not just a buzzword.
• You move quickly without losing polish or attention to detail.
• You listen closely, solve problems, and take ownership.
• You can juggle multiple projects and create your own internal deadlines.
• You’re curious, collaborative, reliable, and always learning what’s next.

You should be comfortable with: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat etc. to make production-ready vector files; presentation tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides; and current AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Firefly, Ideogram, or whatever comes next. Event, experiential, branding, or proposal-design experience is a plus including:

• Experience creating production-ready print files, CNC/router files, and vector artwork
• Experience developing floor plans, fabrication drawings, and production documentation
• Sketch Up (or similar 3D software) as a preferred or bonus qualification
• Understanding of scale, spatial planning, fabrication methods, and build feasibility

This is an in-office role in Silver Spring, Maryland, for someone local to the Washington, D.C. area. There is a option to work from home 1-2 days per week. We move quickly, work collaboratively, and care deeply about creating standout client experiences. No two days look the same—and that’s exactly how we like it.
