MG Chemicals is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team and create high-quality print, digital, technical, and sales materials across the organization. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer with strong fundamentals who enjoys translating sophisticated technical and scientific information into clear, accurate, professional visual communications. The successful candidate will work across marketing collateral, product literature, technical documents, packaging, presentations, digital content, and product launches while collaborating with technical, sales, and other teams across the company.
The role is primarily graphic design, with opportunities to contribute to broader marketing initiatives including digital content, product launches, email marketing, web content, photography and video.
What You'll Do
Graphic Design & Artwork Production
Create marketing materials including brochures, flyers, catalogs, posters, advertisements, trade show graphics, packaging, and product literature.
Create sales collateral including presentation decks, one-pagers, and retail/distributor support materials.
Clean, rebuild, vectorize, and optimize supplied or AI-generated artwork to create production-ready graphics.
Develop visual mock-ups, concept boards, product concepts, and prototypes.
Create original graphics and illustrations using traditional and AI-assisted design tools.
Update and maintain technical documents - including product datasheets, technical bulletins, manuals, and application guides - using Adobe InDesign. Translate technical and scientific information into clear, accurate visual communication while ensuring consistent formatting and adherence to MG Chemicals' branding and documentation standards.
Coordinate with printers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to review proofs, specifications, and production requirements when required.
Digital Content Support
Create graphics for websites, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives.
Prepare and publish website content updates, such as blog posts, company news, product launches, and event recaps.
Qualifications - Required
Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with technical and scientific content, product information, specifications, and production artwork.
Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with generative AI image and video tools, such as Higgsfield, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
Experience creating and editing promotional, instructional, or product videos.
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Photography or product photography experience.
Interest or background in electronics, manufacturing, industrial products, or chemistry.
Email marketing experience using Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and working within a content management system (CMS).
Ability to make minor webpage and layout adjustments or troubleshoot basic webpage display or layout issues.
