Art Director (Digital

The Art Director combines exceptional visual design skills with a deep understanding of digital platforms and user experience. They are equally comfortable developing a brand expression from the ground up as they are translating an established identity into engaging digital experiences. This role requires someone who can think strategically, craft beautiful design systems, and collaborate closely with strategists, copywriters, UX designers, developers, and account teams to deliver outstanding creative work.

The Art Director is a strong visual storyteller with impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead design work across multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

• Lead the creative development of digital experiences, including websites, landing pages, digital campaigns, email marketing, social content, and interactive brand touchpoints.
• Create thoughtful, concept-driven design solutions that balance creativity, usability, and business objectives.
• Translate brand strategy into compelling digital design systems and user experiences.
• Develop page layouts, visual hierarchies, component systems, and interaction concepts that elevate the user experience.
• Present concepts and design rationale clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, Copywriters, UX Designers, Developers, Producers, and Account Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to designers while maintaining consistency across all deliverables.
• Ensure all work meets the highest standards of craft, brand consistency, accessibility, and functionality.
• Stay current with emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices to continually push creative quality forward.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• 4+ years of experience working in digital and branding design, ideally within a creative, digital and brand-focused agency.
• A solid foundation in layout, drawing, colors, typography and art direction.
• Ability to come up with creative solutions that fully align with client’s needs.
• Working ability to translate brand strategy into beautiful brand identities, collateral and websites.
• Demonstrated history of creating original ideas that pushes brands further.
• Ability to present concepts to internal teams, non-designers and clients.

The compensation range for this position is between $90,000 – $110,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
