Photographer

Our client, a growing consumer appliance brand, is looking for a hands-on Photographer / Videographer to own content production from concept through final delivery. This role is ideal for someone comfortable wearing multiple hats, who takes pride in their craft, and enjoys being involved in every stage of the creative process.

This is a hybrid role in Newark, NJ (in-office 4 days a week, work from home on Fridays).

• Shoot premium product photography that feels polished, elevated, and on-brand.
• Capture product demos, lifestyle content, social videos, and campaign assets.
• Own lighting for both photo and video, with a strong understanding of how to light products, people, and environments.
• Handle post-production, including photo retouching, color correction, compositing, and video editing.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, and simple graphics to enhance video content.
• Mix sound, clean up audio, and incorporate music and sound effects when appropriate.
• Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, and other internal teams from concept through final delivery.

• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial photography, videography, or content production; CPG or consumer brand experience is preferred.
• Proven experience shooting both studio product photography and lifestyle content

• Strong portfolio showcasing photography, video production, retouching, editing, and motion graphics.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Audition
  .
• Experience managing projects from pre-production through final delivery.
• Experience with AI-powered creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar platforms

• Experience with color management, studio workflows, digital asset management, and production best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Film, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
