Content Creator Intern

We're seeking a Content Creator Intern to capture and produce engaging multimedia content that promotes Jack o' Lanterns Unleashed. This hands-on role focuses on shooting and editing interview footage, B-roll, short-form social video, and photo assets for Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and our website.

Essential Functions

Film on-site interviews with vendors, performers, staff, and attendees.

Shoot B-roll at events, behind-the-scenes prep, and daily fairground activity.

Edit short-form videos (15–90s) with captions, music, and basic motion graphics.

Produce photo assets and simple graphics for social and web use.

Help plan content ideas and a publishing schedule tied to upcoming events.

Support live social coverage (stories, short clips) during events.

Work with staff to ensure messaging aligns with fairground branding and community goals.

Employment Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from communications, media, film, marketing, journalism, or related program.
Proficient in video editing.
Comfortable recording and troubleshooting basic audio.
Understanding of social platform formats and best practices.
Strong storytelling instincts, organization, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Portfolio or links to sample video/photo work required.
