Are you ready to bring powerful stories to life through innovative visual communication? Sandia National Laboratories Creative Services is looking for an experienced Video Producer & Director to join our dynamic team!
In this role, you'll collaborate with specialists and connect with staff and leadership at all levels to create, refine, and manage video projects from start to finish. You'll lead every stage of production from concept development and research to scriptwriting, location scouting, filming, lighting, sound design, digital effects, editing, and final delivery ensuring each project exceeds expectations.
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
- Dream big and be a driver of innovative video content
- Collaborate closely with staff and leadership to uncover communication needs, providing expert guidance that shapes impactful strategies and influences key decision makers.
- Drive the creative process from concept to completion by delivering compelling visual communications through exceptional customer service, strong project management, and expert video production skills.
- Produce a wide variety of videos including promotional, training, marketing, informational, and classified content that engage and inform diverse audiences.
- Evaluate communication challenges, tailor solutions to meet customer goals, develop strategic concepts, manage budgets, maintain quality standards, and negotiate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Lead detailed planning and prioritization of communication initiatives to ensure smooth production workflows and timely delivery of high-quality video content.
- Success in this role requires staying current with emerging video production technologies, industry trends, and storytelling techniques to continuously elevate the quality and impact of visual communications.

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
