Cinetism Inc. is hiring a Senior Matchmove Artist for remote freelance work in enhancing feature film visual effects. Leverage your expertise in camera and object tracking for impactful results.

In this pivotal role, you will apply your 6+ years of professional experience in VFX matchmove to produce accurate setups that facilitate seamless CG integration. Your strong understanding of camera optics, lens distortion, and 3D environments will guide your efforts in delivering clean, organized scenes ready for production. You will work independently while maintaining close collaboration with teams to ensure quality and consistency throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solve camera tracking challenges from live-action material

• Manage lens distortion and maintain scene integrity

• Create matchmove setups using survey data

• Work collaboratively with VFX departments and clients

• Ensure project deadlines are met with quality work

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in VFX matchmove

• Strong skills in 3DEqualizer and Maya

• Knowledge of lens distortion and camera characteristics

• Ability to troubleshoot complex VFX challenges

• Familiarity with large-scale environment reconstruction
