Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and imaginative Motion Graphics Designer to join their creative team on a contract basis, ideally based near Port Elizabeth , though remote work is preferred for this role. You will be responsible for creating captivating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for a variety of projects, including promotional videos, explainer videos, social media content, and website animations.

The role requires a strong artistic sense, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling animated sequences that enhance storytelling and brand messaging.

• Design and create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for digital media.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to conceptualize and storyboard animation projects.
• Edit raw video footage and integrate motion graphics to produce polished final products.
• Ensure all motion graphics are optimized for various platforms and delivery formats.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in motion graphics and animation.

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing animation and visual effects work.
• Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related animation software.
• Solid understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively within deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and incorporate feedback constructively.
