About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Remote Culinary Experience Designer to conceptualize and develop unique dining experiences for a global audience, based out of Cape Town but operating fully remotely. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about food, culture, and innovative service design, who can translate culinary concepts into engaging and memorable customer journeys. You will work collaboratively with marketing, product, and operations teams to craft exceptional food-related experiences that align with our brand's vision and delight our clientele worldwide.

• Design and curate innovative culinary experiences, including themed menus, tasting events, and interactive workshops, adaptable for virtual and in-person formats.
• Collaborate with chefs and food suppliers to source ingredients and develop recipes that meet quality and cost objectives.
• Create compelling content, such as recipes, cooking guides, and experience narratives, for digital platforms and client communications.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging food trends and customer preferences to inform experience design.
• Ensure all culinary experiences are executed seamlessly, adhering to brand standards and operational requirements, even in a remote setting.
• Develop and manage project timelines and budgets for assigned culinary experience projects.

• Proven experience in culinary arts, menu development, event planning, or a related field within the hospitality or food industry.
• Demonstrated ability to design creative and engaging experiences, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, capable of conveying ideas clearly in a remote environment.
• Strong understanding of food trends, global cuisines, and dietary considerations.
• Proficiency in project management tools and digital collaboration platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
