You take footage, a brief, and a deadline, and hand back a cut that says what the client needed said. The work spans brand films, campaign spots, event recaps, and social edits, long-form and short-form both.

We keep this role open year-round. Projects arrive on their own schedule, and we staff them from editors we already know. When a brief needs an edit, we reach out with the footage, the direction, the timeline, and the pay for that job.

What the work looks like:

- First cuts from raw footage with minimal hand-holding
- Social-native edits with captions, pacing, and platform crops
- Revision rounds against client notes without losing the spine of the piece
- Occasional motion graphics and title work inside the edit Contract, project-based, remote. Typical pay is $30 to $50 an hour depending on complexity and turnaround, sometimes priced per project instead.

What we're looking for

• A reel showing narrative and/or social-native editing
• Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• You can work from a creative brief with minimal oversight
• Able to turn around drafts on tight timelines
