Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Event Manager, Schools Division (Full-Time, Remote)

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking an experienced, organized, and dynamic Event Manager for our Schools Business Unit. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and owns the planning and execution of recurring events for internal and external groups across Ensemble Performing Arts. This role must understand the mission and brand of the company as it relates to special events, and operate with the judgment and independence of a manager who can execute the planning while partnering with school leadership.

This is the right fit for a planner who wants to build a flagship conference from the ground up, create repeatable playbooks for recurring events, and take ownership of a growing events portfolio — while staying close to the on-the-ground details that make each event run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Music School Owners Conference
    • Build and run a multi-day conference for independent music school owners end to end — venue sourcing, contracts, room blocks, and budget/P&L
    • Design the agenda and sessions with ELT and Opus stakeholders, manage registration and attendee data in Hub Spot, and lead the attendee acquisition campaign with the marketing team
    • Own vendors (AV, F&B, production, signage, swag), run of show, and on-site execution; close with a post-event survey, financial close, and a playbook so year two is easier
  • All-Company Offsite
    • Own venue, travel, lodging, budget, and vendors for the full company, building the agenda with the ELT, who own the run of show
    • Manage meals, transport, evening programming, materials, and post-event feedback
  • M&A / CDM Webinars
    • Own a predictable demand-gen cadence — platform, registration, reminder sequences, and Hub Spot integration
    • Lead speaker prep and dry runs with the CDM team and live production so the CDM is selling, not troubleshooting, and hand off follow-up into the CDM workflow with reporting through to screenings
  • Department Offsites & Internal Gatherings
    • Run sessions on a repeatable playbook, owning logistics, budget, and vendor relationships, and building the templates that make the next one faster
Who You Are
  • A builder — you create replicable processes for scale across a growing network of performing arts schools
  • A planner — you research and apply the best platforms and vendors while keeping deadlines and the end goal in mind
  • A project owner — you can run an event from planning to execution as the main point of contact, keeping up with the details
  • A trusted operator — you can represent the event planning function in front of senior leadership and School Leaders with confidence
Qualifications
  • Must be available to attend the Ensemble Off-Site from October 19–21, 2026
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience in event planning
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fully remote, fast-scaling environment
Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $65,000–$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. A competitive benefits package is provided, including a 401(k) with employer match; health, vision, and dental benefits; and Paid Time-Off.

Diversity is a strength of our community. If you meet most but not all of the qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.
