Wanderlust Videos is a post-production studio specializing in cinematic editing for wedding filmmakers around the world. With over 10 years of experience, we are passionate about helping filmmakers tell their stories with care, creativity, and attention to detail.

Our team is dedicated to delivering edits that match each filmmaker’s unique style, and we’re looking for skilled freelance editors to help bring these stories to life.

As a Freelance Video Editor at Wanderlust Videos, you will be responsible for editing cinematic-style wedding films, including color correction and sound adjustments, based on client specifications and company guidelines. You’ll collaborate with our internal team to maintain high quality standards, meet project deadlines, and deliver a seamless post-production experience for our filmmaker clients.

This is a freelance, remote (work from home) position with flexible, project-based assignments.

• We match editors to projects based on video requirements.
• Payments are guaranteed in accordance with our agreement, based on successful delivery and adherence to quality and performance standards.
• Projects are offered directly to you, and you may choose which projects to accept based on your availability and interest. You will also gain new skills through structured feedback and training from our expert quality assurance specialists.
• All editors begin at Level 1 and may advance to higher levels with consistent performance. Each level has set payment rates per video type.
• If selected for an interview, we will share sample payout ranges so you have clear visibility into compensation as you move forward in the process.

Editing & Workflow:

• Edit cinematic-style videos based on client requirements and company standards.
• Download, organize, and review all provided footage.
• Understand project settings and carefully study client reference videos.
• Deliver the first version of each project to Quality Assurance (QA) and clients within the agreed upon timeline.
• Complete all requested revisions from QA or clients within the required timeframe.
• Upload backup files and deliver final project files according to deadlines.

Quality Assurance &

Collaboration:

• Ensure high-quality standards are maintained across all edited projects.
• Participate in team calls with Wanderlust Videos staff as needed.
• Actively apply feedback, suggestions, and training from the Wanderlust Videos team to improve skills and workflow.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management (PM) and QA teams to optimize project execution and turnaround times.

• Proven professional experience of more than a year in video editing

• Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  .
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English is required
• Ability to process and apply feedback effectively.
