Video Content Producer

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Produce and edit visual media for all members of the House Republican caucus.
• Operate and maintain an on-site studio for video shoots, podcasts, press conferences, and other events.
• Attend House voting sessions, committee meetings, and occasional in-district events to record and communicate legislative activities.
• Manage scheduling studio time and prepare shoots for 58 Republican legislators.
• Support preparation and management of the Speaker of the House’s regular press conferences at the Capitol.
• Deliver timely shoots and quick turnarounds for varied video content.
• Work closely with legislators, staff teams, and officials from other government branches.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and work primarily in-person Monday through Friday, with occasional remote work and infrequent nights and weekends.

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience composing, capturing, and editing videos is required.
• State government or relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to function in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing different personalities and multiple issues.
• Ability to learn House rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Understanding of legislative districts and state political processes.
• Familiarity with handling a demanding schedule preferred.
