Role overview
A remote voice talent opportunity is open for a female German speaker with a mature, conversational delivery style. The work supports the development of AI-driven language and speech technology, where recorded voice samples help train and refine speech systems. Contributors operate as independent contractors, choosing their own schedules and projects.
Responsibilities- Record German-language voice samples in a natural, conversational style that includes realistic pauses and word emphasis
- Deliver material at a consistent, moderate pace with clear diction suitable for customer-facing dialogue
- Follow detailed technical specifications for each assignment, including volume, file naming, format, segment gaps, and overall audio quality
- Submit demos, audition recordings, or voiceover samples as part of the evaluation process
- Meet tight turnaround deadlines when booked for active projects
- License recorded voice material for use in AI voice cloning and text-to-speech training
- Native German speaker with a mature voice profile (approximately 35–55 years old)
- Background in voice acting, narration, podcasting, streaming, or a comparable field
- Professional or high-quality home recording setup, including a suitable microphone, audio interface, headset or speakers, and a digital audio workstation with standard plugins
- Treated, quiet recording space free from background noise, music, clicks, and reverberation
- Ability to follow precise recording instructions and meet deadlines on short timelines
- Willingness to license voice output for AI training purposes
- Prior experience contributing to speech or language technology projects
- Confidence working in customer-service or dialogue-style scripts with empathy and warmth
- Fully remote, independent contractor engagement with flexible scheduling
