Virtual Event Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Virtual Event Planner to manage and execute online events for a diverse clientele, supporting operations globally from a remote base, with a specific focus on clients in the Paarl region. This role demands creativity, technological proficiency, and exceptional organizational skills to deliver engaging and seamless virtual experiences. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and coordination of webinars, conferences, and other online gatherings, ensuring high participant engagement and client satisfaction.

• Plan, organize, and manage virtual events from conception to post-event analysis.
• Select and manage appropriate virtual event platforms and technologies.
• Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and vendors for virtual event logistics.
• Develop event content, agendas, and promotional materials for online dissemination.
• Provide technical support and guidance to speakers and attendees during live virtual events.
• Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and provide comprehensive reports to clients.

• Proven experience in planning and managing virtual or hybrid events.
• Proficiency with various virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing remote teams and clients.
• Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues in a live virtual environment.
• Demonstrated creativity in designing engaging online experiences for audiences in and around Paarl.
