Front-End Web Designer - AI Trainer

Work with frontier AI design tools while applying your craft to real, professional standards. As an independent contractor, you will design and evaluate visual UI/UX briefs and compare AI outputs across identical prompts and assets. This is an opportunity to work from home, set your own pace, and choose projects that match your interests.

Compensation: USD 75 to 125 per hour

• Create realistic, challenging design briefs based on your professional expertise.
• Run briefs through frontier AI design tools and evaluate the results against the standards you would expect from a colleague.
• Compare two model versions using identical prompts and assets, selecting which performed better and identifying where each fell short.
• Critique model-generated interfaces, mockups, layouts, slides, infographics, illustrations, and motion.
• Document specific failures with evidence, including alignment and spacing, content overflow or cutoff, typography, visual hierarchy, SVG and illustration quality, ignored assets, and off-brief interpretation.
• Contribute across software and interactive work, office and presentation design, technical illustration, graphic design, and new media.

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Background in UI/UX design
  , web design, product design, or graphic design.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy
  , layout, typography, interaction design, and user flow.
• Ability to articulate why a design fails, not just that it fails.
• Comfort working with AI design tools, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• A current, in progress, or completed Bachelor’s is preferred (but not required).
