Job Description & How to Apply Below

Alt is unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the $5 B trading-card market. We let collectors buy, sell, vault, and finance their cards in one place and we are backed by leaders at Stripe, Coinbase, Seven Seven Six, and pro athletes like Tom Brady and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Our next frontier is real-time pricing at scale—the Alt Value that powers every trade, loan, and product on the platform.

We are looking for a highly adaptable, travel-ready Events Specialist to support Alt’s international event footprint and onsite cash operations. This full-time employee will be on the front lines at shows helping drive an exceptional seller experience, supporting operational flow, and ensuring Alt’s brand is represented with professionalism and consistency.

This role sits at the intersection of events, marketing, and secure cash operations. You’ll work closely with the Events and Experiences Director to bring shows to life, support in-booth customer engagement, ensure cash-handling excellence, and help execute the operational components that make our events successful.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy traveling, and love being part of an action-oriented field team, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:
  • Travel to events and shows around the world, often 70% of the time.
  • Assist with booth setup and teardown, including signage, displays, equipment, and marketing materials.
  • Represent Alt onsite with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Support onsite activation efforts, including customer greeting, directing booth flow, and helping maintain a clean, organized environment.
  • Collaborate with the Events Manager on executing show-day schedules, staffing plans, and onsite logistics.
  • Capture customer feedback, field insights, and event learnings to improve future programs.
  • Support onsite cash operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Own onsite cash disbursement tied to show transactions.
  • Maintain control and organization of cash-related materials, equipment, and documentation in partnership with hired security.
  • Conduct basic reconciliation and audit steps under the direction of the Events and Experience Director or Finance team.
  • Support marketing efforts at events, including:
    • Handing out materials
    • Content capture
    • Helping with customer education
    • Encouraging engagement with Alt products and services
  • Work closely with Sales, Vault Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth booth flow.
  • Communicate event performance insights, including customer demand trends, questions, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Assist with post-event reporting, material inventory, and readiness for upcoming shows.
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • Deep hobby knowledge and a true passion for sports and TCG
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70%, including weekends, extended show days, and frequent Friday–Tuesday workweeks.
  • Must reside near a major airport with reliable access to national travel.
  • Experience in events, retail operations, customer service, field marketing, brand activations, or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills and comfort representing a brand publicly.
  • High reliability and accountability able to work independently in field environments.
  • Ability to lift/move show equipment, cases, signage, and materials.
  • Comfort handling cash operations with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a polished, compliant booth environment.
